In front of the Legislative Council, this is where the only public statue of Central, that of a Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Victorian Governor, symbolizes the success of the city. The site is one of the many meeting points of the maids («household helpers») on Sundays, as well as of the offices of the offices surrounding it.

La place, à part la statue ne présente pas grand intérêt si ce n'est la vue sur les buildings alentours (surtout de nuit : clichés magnifiques ! ) et puis le dimanche elle fourmille de "bonnes à tout faire " philippines, les esclaves modernes de HK, qui n'ont aucun endroit où aller pendant leur jour de repos et se retrouvent donc ici (les Indonésiennes se retrouvent quant à elles à Causeway Bay). Bref endroit non indispensable mais pourquoi pas si vous passez par là. Pas de photo de la statue que je vous laisse découvrir par vous même
