The park covers 8,3 ha. Located near the island of Shamian, this park opened in 1957 is one of the most vibrant in Canton. Many shows are held there: Traditional canton opera (yueju), concerts, storytellers of popular stories and other temporary attractions. The garden also includes a tea house.
