TRADITIONAL CULTURE STREET

This street, more than 500 m long, is an attempt to recreate Tianjin's appearance at the beginning of the century. The old Qing style houses, among other traditional buildings bordering it, have been restored and now home to nearly souvenir shops and traditional handicraft workshops. The temple of the Celestial Queen (Tian Hou), located in the heart of the Traditional Culture Street, is worth a look at its architecture and beautiful frescoes depicting the life of Tian Hou.
