The silk market has done (during the Games) and still makes one of every Western daily newspaper because there are all Western brands. It is impossible to distinguish the true of the fake most often. It's always a lot of westerners who are up with their big bags filled with scarves, brand jackets and cheap souvenirs. The vendors are shouting to lose their voices and all this on a calculator's noise. The haggling in the rough. But everyone loves. Even the children because the 3rd floor that is nothing less than a huge supermarket of the toy… We try to avoid going there because of the noise and the world… but it still remains an inescapable shopping in Beijing.

Pour le plus célèbre marché de Pékin, j'ai été déçue. Les boutiques sont réparties sur plusieurs étales. On est loin du marché avec de nombreux étales, chaque magasin étant bien défini et derrière des vitrines. Le marché de la soie a perdu de son charme avec le temps... N'hésitez cependant pas à négocier même si c'est indiqué de ne pas le faire
