A large glass building with no special charm but situated south of Qianmen and close to the west door of the Temple of Heaven. The rooms are bright and spacious. This is undoubtedly due to the fact that the building dates back to 1918 and that, at the time, these interior balconies had to rage with guests. It is a delightful atmosphere.

This hotel is selected by the Tour Operators. Our group of 12 tourists stayed there twice, at the beginning and at the end of our circuit. The comfort of the rooms is entirely at the height of a three star; nothing to say about the cleanliness of the places. The neighborhood is quiet. The Chinese and/or Continental Breakfast is available in a pleasant room. Website: http://www.dongfanghotelbeijing.cn In a small hour of walking we can go to the Forbidden City. At the foot of the hotel, a hutongs area that has not yet been renovated. Typical, to visit.
