Hôtel très bien placé, un peu vieillot mais très bien tenu et propre. Personnel sympa.

I stayed for 4 nights to go cave diving. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Easy check in, parking was available. The room was clean and spacious, it had been modernised. The breakfast was simple but good quality with freshly made coffee from the bar and fresh croissants. The staff were all very friendly. I will definitely stay again next time I am back

Posizione comoda vicino al porto x le escursioni, hotel pulito con balcone vista mare ho avuto la possibilità di stendere costumi ed asciugamani chiedendo uno stendino. Abbiamo cenato molto bene nel ristorante annesso all'hotel. L'unica nota un po' negativa era una colazione un po' misera x come si presenta la struttura. Comunque validissimo e lo consiglio

Abbiamo soggiornato qualche giorno all'Hotel Pop.
La posizione è comodissima, in quanto di fronte al porto di Cala Gonone, da cui partono tutte le escursioni per la meravigliosa Costa di Baunei.
La camera era spaziosa e con balcone vista mare, che abbiamo apprezzato molto. Arredamento un po' demodé.
Il parcheggio è gratuito e gli spostamenti auto interni sono gestiti dal personale dell'hotel.
Per la colazione personalmente avremmo preferito che ci fossero dei prodotti artigianali (torte fatte in casa, biscotti, brioche, ecc...), come abbiamo invece trovato in altri hotel durante la vacanza.
Tutto sommato lo consigliamo!

Das Personal ebenfalls sehr freundlich und Frühstück auch in Ordnung.

Parken ist ein wenig schwierig. Wenn der Parkplatz voll ist, besteht die Möglichkeit am Hafen zu parken, aber auch hier ist es sehr sehr schwer einen Platz zu finden. Wir hatten Glück und haben in einer Nebenstraße einen Parkplatz finden können.

Was really looking forward to my stay here but it turned out to be a terrible experience and really put a sour note on my otherwise wonderful Sardinian vacation. I have never had such a poor experience at a hotel that has compelled me to write a review until now. The front door was hidden and difficult to find but that was the least of my worries. Upon check in, I realized my booking was for 3 nights but I only needed 2 nights so I asked the hotel if they would allow me to make change my booking as it was a genuine error. The hotel refused as they are within their cancellation policy rights to do so, so I accepted the situation and did not argue. I figured I will just use the room for as long as I needed on the last day but not stay the night. The beds were not the most comfortable but the location was right at the pier, perfect for early morning boat excursions.

The receptionist informed me I had breakfast included in my reservation so I ate breakfast all 3 days. Upon check out, the receptionist said to me "I'm sorry but I thought you had breakfast in your booking but in fact you do not so you will have to pay". I was quite appalled as never have I stayed at a hotel where the staff makes a mistake, admits it, and then makes the customer pay for it. I asked to speak with the manager who proceeded to yell at me, speak over me and never once heard me out. It was very unprofessional, unfriendly and ungentlemanly. I expressed to the receptionist it is her duty to confirm booking details such as breakfast with guests' upon check-in and she told me it is not her responsibility. I guess I was expecting too much for a 3 star hotel. The price of the breakfast was not an issue it is the principle of how the situation was handled.

Also, this was not the only issue but rather the last straw that broke the camel's back. On my second day, I was woken at 8am by the housekeeper bursting into my hotel room without warning and then screaming when she saw me in the bed and slammed the door shut...not once did she apologize or knock and verbally inform me that housekeeping was entering. I was so startled and thought someone had broken into my room. Also, they ask you to leave the key at the front desk every time you exit the hotel, but most of the time, there was no one during operating hours.

Then on the worst situation of all happened the morning of my last day. Even though it was settled that I was going to pay for all 3 nights and the manager said I could "stay all 3 nights or leave after 2 - it is not problem since it is already paid for", while I was enjoying my breakfast the receptionist interrupted me and asked when I am leaving in a very impatient manner. I told her not until later in the afternoon not understanding why it mattered. She then asked me to vacate the room asap because the cleaners are leaving at 11am...I asked her why do I need to vacate when I've paid for 3 nights and therefore I am within my rights to stay for on the 3rd day (even if not for the night)? They refused to refund me for the 3rd night yet now want to kick me out? She rolled her eyes at me very condescendingly and said they need to clean the room since I am not staying the night. I calmly told her that it's not polite to kick a paying customer out and my vacation is not on the cleaner's schedule. It is very distasteful and tacky to try to tell me to leave even though I've paid for the night - I asked her why they can't just clean the room tomorrow morning instead? She immediately appeared embarrassed she hadn't thought of that herself and stopped harassing me.

Then upon check out, I waited 20 minutes under the hot 40°C sun for the valet to bring my car, the receptionist said the make and model in Italian to make it clear (Fiat cinquecento nera) but they brought the wrong car still and I had to wait another 15 minutes. Overall, it was the worst hotel experience of my life. Avoid this establishment and find a hotel with more professional and competent staff if you value your vacation time and want to be treated respectfully as a paying guest.

Excelent location, wonderful and helpful staff.
Good breakfast. Room was not so big but very comfortable and neat. I’d choose it again if I’m lucky enough to travel back to Cala Gonone. Thanks Hotel Pop for a great stay!!!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel solo per una notte. L'hotel è estremamente pulito. Il personale cordiale e sorridente. Ci hanno organizzato una mini crociera in gommone con il capitano Michele, altrettanto gentile e disponibile. La meraviglia dei paesaggi merita. Consigliamo vivamente questa esperienza. On the website it said there was internet in *all places*. We had room No. 66, which was a little bit further from the main building. Most of the time, there was no network at all, so we had to sit outside of our room in a public place. There was a network, which was literally dedicated to said place. Even when sitting right next to the router, it was quite impossible to get a higher download-speed than 1 Mbps (125 Kb/s). Other than the internet, the place was okay, except for the balcony which was smaller than advertised.

Conosco solo il ristorante di questo hotel e devo dire che il rapporto qualità prezzo c'è, a parte le crudité un po' corte di manica, ma larghe di sapori e qualità

Ottima posizione della struttura fronte porto turistico. Camera con 3 letti, ma occupati due da noi. Comoda x due persone. Bagno carino con accessori e box doccia nuovissimi. Balconcino indipendente con tavolino e 2 sedie fronte mare. Frigo in camera senza freezer, ma con la disponibilità di tenere i siberiani nel freezer della struttura. Colazione non al top con torte preconfezionate e poca scelta nel bevande, ma comunque molto apprezzata. Personale della reception molto carino e disponibilissimo. Parcheggio privato con pochi posti auto e comunque abbiamo avuto la possibilità di usufruirne senza problemi. Giudizio positivismo.

I ate dinner here, I didn't stay in the hotel. The food and service were both excellent.

Abbiamo trascorso due notti in questo hotel durante un weekend a Cala Gonone. La posizione dell'hotel è fantastica: a pochi metri dal porto dal quale partono le motonavi per la visita alle splendide calette vicine. L'hotel è anche dotato di un piccolo parcheggio in cui abbiamo potuto lasciare l'auto, cosa molto importante.La camera aveva un balconcino attrezzato dal quale si vedeva il mare. Nota negativa è la totale assenza di insonorizzazione nelle camere: si sentiva anche il minimo rumore nei corridoi. La luce del bagno poi è dotata di accensione con fotocellula: a meno che non sia stata incapace di capire come spegnere il sistema, non è piacevole se si va in bagno di notte trovarsi con la luce in faccia senza poterlo evitare. Colazione discreta, alcune torte sembravano fatte in casa, altre preconfezionate, ma nel complesso la scelta era sufficiente.

Un très bel hôtel bien placé devant le port, idéal si vous voulez ou avait réservé une excursion en bateau pour visiter les criques avoisinantes.
Les chambres sont très propres et très charmantes
Un très grand merci aux réceptionnistes pour leurs professionnalismes et leur gentillesse, qui ont su m’aider pour ma réservation et ont parfaitement répondu à toute mes demandes.
Le petit déjeuner était très bon aussi

Posizione bellissima fronte mare, servizio impeccabile, ristorante ottimo con pietanze deliziose. Cristina a il fratello, ma in generale tutto il personale sono persone squisite. Suggerissimo.

Très bel hôtel idéalement situé juste devant le port, parfait pour partir découvrir la magnifique côte. Personnel très disponible travaillent en famille. Belle chambre avec terrasse. Restaurant avec menu très abordable et excellent petit déjeuner.
