This Cagliari institution celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2021. The Mundula family has managed to run this restaurant from generation to generation, always with the same recipe: good local dishes inspired by both land and sea. This former salt store offers a different atmosphere between its restaurant, which focuses on local specialities, and the wine bar, which offers a fine selection of oysters and champagnes. Here you can try Sardinian-style pork, fregola with clams, homemade fish soup or sweetbreads.

Dopo oltre 20 anni sono tornato a cena in un ristorante storico della città. Ottima selezione di vini che accompagnano l'antipasto di frittura di pesce fresco, la fregola con arselle ed il filetto di pesce con olive e patate del giorno. Mangiato benissimo con un ottimo e gentile servizio (bravissima e professionale la cameriera che ci ha servito al tavolo) e pagato il giusto. Sono rimasto molto contento e soddisfatto.

Questo locale mi è stato consigliato dalla reception dell'Hotel e devo dire che è molto particolare nell'arredamento e il sevizio è ottimo.
Quello che non mi è piaciuto è stato il cibo, ho preso gli antipasti misti e non mi hanno colpito ne dal punto di vista della qualità, ma sopratutto per le porzioni non in linea al costo.
Buono il dolce.
Da aggiungere la cortesia della proprietaria.
Peccato, anche se da provare forse più l'Oysteria.

Merita! Piatti squisiti (spaghetti vongole e bottarga e spaghetti al granchione veramente consigliati), personale attento e gentile. Alla fine ci hanno offerto il mirto e abbiamo chiacchierato con un dipendente storico del locale che ci ha saputo dire di più sul ristorante e sulla loro tradizione. Se mai tornassi in Sardegna, sicuramente farei nuovamente visita qui!
