PORTO PUDDU

To the west of Porto Rafael are the endless white beaches of Porto Puddu and Porto Pollo. They are among the few beaches on the island that are suitable for surfing. Consequently, all the activity in the area is geared towards surfing and other water sports. The island of Gabbiani, which has become an isthmus since it was connected to the mainland by a breakwater, is home to a "village" entirely dedicated to surfing. If you want to take surfing lessons, rent a board or have a drink in the relaxed beach bars, this is the place to be.
