Tomb of giant in Arzachena, one of the most emblematic monuments of Sardinia.

It is one of the few easily accessible giant tombs. It is located near the beautiful Nuragic village of Prisgiona. A stele of 4.40 m high, formed by two blocks of granite superimposed, is pierced by a small door leading to a covered funeral corridor of 14 m in length. It is one of the most emblematic monuments of Nuraghic Sardinia and its imposing entrance is often mentioned on the brochures promoting the destination.

Il y a de nombreux sites de l'époque nuragique à Arzachena, il y a un petit office du tourisme où toutes les informations sont bien indiquées.
La visite est très rapide et les indications donnes sont personnellement trop succinctes. Cela mériterait d'avoir des visites guidées groupées pour plusieurs sites.
Après en effet le site est exceptionnel mais il manque des informations pour l'apprécier à sa juste valeur

Arzachena ville à decouvrir avec de nombreux sites archéologiques. Nous avons choisi le temple malchittu le nuage albucciu et la tombe des geants. Tout est bien fléché dans la ville. On reçoit un livret explicatif pour tous les sites. Très interressant.
