The particularity of this embassy is not to have a Consular section. The latter's activity has been postponed to the Consulate General in Sydney. In particular, the Embassy provides the following proximity services: the issuing of diplomatic and service visas; answers to questions from the French community of the ACT or the French of passage on problems of consular nature; organisation of polling stations (presidential, European and referendum elections); voting proxies.
