School of the Air is the school by the voice of waves, which allows children remote from school centres, in the heart of the Outback, to follow courses through the radio. It started at Broken Hill 60 years ago because some farms were up to 500 km away. During the tour of Broken Hill, you can talk with a teacher and attend an on-line lesson with the students.
