Brett Whiteley (1939-1992) was one of Australia's most famous artists of the 20th century. From 1988 to 1992, he worked in this studio, which became one of Sydney's best kept secrets, managed by the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Here you can explore his sketchbooks, photographs, music collection and all his personal memorabilia as well as a selection of his work.
