The Sydney Fish Market is the largest fish market in the Southern Hemisphere. Over 65 tons of fresh fish are sold every day. On weekdays, a seafood auction takes place from 5.30am. Of course, there are plenty of restaurants to welcome you during the day. As well as the inevitable fish & chips, you can enjoy more elaborate dishes at reasonable prices. On-site tastings include rock oysters, lobsters, Tasmanian giant crabs and barramundi.
