SYDNEY FIREWORKS - NEW YEAR'S EVE

It's one of Sydney's iconic events: to ring in the New Year, fireworks are set off from Sydney Harbour on December 31. The celebrations even start a few hours before the midnight fireworks. Over a million people come to Sydney over the festive period, so we advise you to book your hotel well in advance. Fireworks also go off in Manly, north of Sydney, in the early evening.
