The Song Hotel is located in the south-east of Hyde Park, off Oxford Street, just a few minutes walk from the downtown train to the airport (Museum Station) and downtown Sydney.
The hotel has a wide range of room options, including upscale rooms, value-priced single and double rooms, and flexible configurations for families and large groups. For the budget-conscious traveler, clean and comfortable private rooms with shared bathrooms are also available.
On the first floor, Song Kitchen & Bar is popular with guests and locals alike for its Mediterranean menu and quality wine list. 20% off is offered to guests staying at the hotel. Happy Hour is from 3 to 5 p.m. every day except Saturday.

The real issue is the rooms are not sound proof and you hear all the chatters going up and down the hallway, and everything going on in the next rooms - including the rendition of Happy Birthday coming from the room next door at 3am.
Update post response from the owner: "Dear Halpin" how impersonal to call someone by there last name like this, make the whole response insincere as it probably is. NO, I will not consider giving you another go, I like to sleep at night
