TAVERNE MOURIES

This tasty tavern is located in the countryside, between Achilli and Linaria. It serves delicious home cooking, including some typical Skyros dishes. Don't hesitate to discover feta, xynotyro and kaseri among the Skyrian cheeses, to be accompanied by a local ladopita , a traditional doughnut or, literally, "bread with oil". The area is famous for its grilled meat dishes, especially kid. Plan to come hungry, in order to enjoy the generous portions, comfortably installed in the shade of mulberry trees.
