The airport is also called Samos-Aristarque airport (in honour of an astronomer and mathematician born on the island towards the beginning of the th century BC).

Athens-Samos. Olympic Air provides two to four flights per day (55 minutes). Aegean Airlines offers one flight per day.

Thessaloniki-Samos. Several flights per week operated by Aegean Airlines and Astra Airlines (1 hour).

Links with other islands. The new Greek Sky Express company offers weekly connections with Chios and Rhodes.
