BEACHES

The beaches are among the most beautiful in the gulf. Anargiri, to the east, is ideal for water sports and the visit of the small cave of Békiri. The charm of the beaches of Aghia Paraskevi and Aghia Marina, in the south, is undermined by the dense visitor traffic during the summer. But to enjoy a bit of space and tranquillity, take a boat trip to Vrellos or Zogeria, a beautiful sandy beach, only seven kilometres from the centre, surrounded by a pine forest. If you want to swim almost alone, we recommend Xyloheriza and Poulaki in the south.
