An hour walk will lead you to the summit of Mount Eros - the highest point of the island - where you will discover the monastery of the Prophet Elie on the heights of the city: Enjoy the joyful walk, the breathtaking view. If you are a good walker, continue to Episkopi's uninhabited monastery (an extra hour's walk), through an ideal landscape. It's a bit of a hike as a hike - avoid doing it when the sun gets too strong - but you'll appreciate it once you get up to enjoy the breathtaking view.
