KLIMA

Created in 1936 by Rudolphe Klima, a Czech who arrived in Polynesia in 1926 to work initially in a small coffee farm in the Marquesas, the Klima bookstore can boast of being the oldest in Tahiti. Today, ideally located on the cathedral square, it is particularly well supplied with literary, youth, documentary and practical works. Polynesia and its authors are obviously honoured, and navigators will also be able to find nautical charts. Enough to fill up before taking off for the islands!
