KON TIKI TAHITI
This eco-friendly boutique hotel has just opened its doors. This historic 1970s hotel has been redesigned as a retro-modern place with Polynesian touches. At the heart of the offer: respect for the environment. Part of the decor is based on miconia, a plant from the island. There are 64 accommodation units with several themes creating a different experience from the hotel standard. This hotel evokes the journey: Kontiki was a raft built by a Norwegian to cross the Pacific Ocean from Peru to the Tuamotus.
It is on the 7ᵉ floor that you can enjoy lunch or dinner. The Surfhouse restaurant offers a mixed menu (French and Polynesian) in a friendly atmosphere with a breathtaking view of Papeete and its sister island Moorea. For a more lounge and exotic atmosphere, go to the rooftop to admire the sunset while sipping a tasty cocktail around trays to share with friends.
