HISTORY MUSEUM (МУЗЕЙ МУЗЕЙ)

Here you will have the opportunity to discover a collection of objects illustrating especially the ancient history of the city. Beautiful marble statues from the temple of the goddess Kibela (Cybele) - the only one in the Northern Balkans and the best preserved in the world. This temple was built in 280-260 B.C. and functioned until the ^4th century paying homage to other Hellenistic deities whose numerous stone monuments are also in the museum.
