FORUM AND ROMAN THEATER (ФОРУМ ФОРУМ)

Remains of Augusta Trajana, a city founded in the early ^2nd century AD, during the reign of the Roman emperor Trajan. It was an important fortified city, the second in the province of Thrace after Philippopolis. Of the ancient Roman city remain visible a fragment of fortification, the western and southern doors, the forum, or the baths and a necropolis. Performances are sometimes scheduled on the site of the forum.
