This mountain is home to a ski resort 13 km from the town, from where there is a beautiful view of the whole region. A destination less chic than Bariloche, less expensive but also practical: La Hoya, thanks to its privileged orientation, is known for its late snowfall. New chairlifts and a ski lift have been added to the existing infrastructure in recent years. 29 slopes on 60 ha, and 10 ski lifts. The season runs from mid-June to mid-October. On the spot, you can stay at the Hostería Pirrén Chayá.
