Green park with artificial lakes, rose garden, formal garden, museums and several sports fields.

Here you can refresh yourself, have a drink or go pedal boating on the artificial lakes of this vast green lung. There is also a rose garden - a small bench is set up on the exact spot where the first photo of young Ernesto Guevara as a baby surrounded by his parents was taken -, a French garden, and museums such as the Juan B Fine Arts Museum. Castagnino, as well as several sports fields, including the stadium of the first division football team Newell's Old Boys.

El Parque de la Independencia est l'un des parcs de Rosario à visiter, il est possible de faire du pédalo sur le lac, la balade y est très agréable. Pour les fans de foot, c'est là que se trouve le Stade de Newell's Old Boys, l'une des 2 équipes de Rosario au sein de laquelle Leo Messi a joué. Pour les fans de Rosario Central, il faut aller au Stade Gigante de Arroyito près du parc Alem.
