MUSEO MUNICIPAL DE BELLAS ARTES JUAN B. CASTAGNINO

A slightly monumental façade for the country's first museum with modern architecture. It was inaugurated on December 7, 1937. More than 4,500 paintings, sculptures and engravings mainly presenting Argentine art of the 19th and 20th centuries. There are also European works from various periods. The museum is currently being expanded, to the current 2,600 square meters, an additional 3,800 square meters will be added. Permanent and temporary exhibitions, check the website for events.
