Museum housing the offices of the famous newspaper, with a superb collection of historical photographs and a library.
Powerful war general and governor of the province of Buenos Aires, the future president of the Republic Bartolomé Mitre lived in this house from 1860 to 1906. A museum was opened the following year, and the building, which dates from 1785, served as the offices of the famous newspaper La Nación. Here you will find a wealth of information relating to the history of Argentina, a superb collection of historical photographs and above all an impressive library (from 1883), one of the most important on Argentine history in particular.
