Imposing palace with a magnificent 80 m-high dome, offering a visual and symbolic connection with the Casa Rosada.
This is the seat of the legislative branch, which includes the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. This imposing building, with a magnificent 80-metre-high dome, was inaugurated in 1907 and provides a visual and symbolic connection with the Casa Rosada (Executive Power), located on the other side of Avenida del Mayo. The Italian architect Vittorio Meano was inspired by Greek and Roman references to build this palace, which contains precious works of art by academic painters.
