Built at the end of the 19th century on the model of the Galleries Vittorio Emmanuelle II in Milan, the building, classified as a historical monument, is worth a little detour. In 1945, the 450 m² central dome was covered with frescoes by great Argentinean painters (Berni, Castagnino, Colmeiro, Spilimbergo, Urruchúa). Today it is a huge shopping centre, crowded every weekend, with more than 150 shops. The major international ready-to-wear brands are all (or almost all) represented here. Argentinean brands are also represented.
