Very popular with rich Sri Lankans, this hotel which never closed during the war was totally destroyed by the tsunami (6 tourists and one staff member died). The establishment, reopened since 2007, is one of the best hotels in the area. 45 rooms with all comforts, including 22 Standard and 23 Deluxe. Wifi. The excellent outdoor restaurant faces Pigeon Island. Wooden deckchairs line the beautiful swimming pool... A pleasant place to enjoy your vacation while taking advantage of a beautiful but mostly deserted beach.
