LOVELY GUESTHOUSE

Opened in 1978, this guesthouse was the first in Hikkaduwa. Located in a very nice house, in a street a little bit behind Galle Road, next to the railway, it has 12 rooms. The prices are attractive for a simple but sufficient comfort. The furniture is very old but the defects are compensated by the sympathy of the owners. The beach is 200 meters away, on the other side of Galle Road. Bordered by a canal where you can see big varans in the morning, this guesthouse with a family atmosphere is an extremely quiet place.
