HELITOURS

The former commercial arm of the Sri Lanka Air Force had been providing civilian transport throughout Sri Lanka since 1972. Charter flights by helicopter (M-17, Bell 412, and Bell 212), or by plane (Xian MA-60 and Y-12E). Destinations were Anuradhapura, Ampara, Batticaloa, Colombo (Ratmanala Airport), Hambantota, Jaffna, Kilinochchi, Koggala, Trincomalee, and Vavuniya, as well as Male in the Maldives. As of December 2021, commercial operations were still suspended, however commercial flights are expected to resume in the future.
