A skilful blend of Gothic and Baroque art, the Church of St. George, also the parish church of the medieval city, bears the name of the city's patron saint. The 16th century altar painted by the Austrian artist Konrad Laib is worth a look. There are several Renaissance tombstones around the building. The church proudly dominates the small town centre and has the advantage of being absolutely photogenic. Interesting to find out.
