Here is the oldest vineyard in the world. It backs onto the original wall dating from 1657. The city still manages to produce about 50 kilos a year for prestigious gifts for celebrities visiting the region. All the wines of the region are offered for tasting and sale in this small museum where you can also find other souvenirs but above all the history of this exceptional grape variety: Zametna Crnina or Modra Kavcina. Nice map of the vineyard.

Vieille de400 ans, cette vigne fait la fierté des habitants de Lent, un joli quartier de Maribor sur les bords de la Drave. Elle habille élégamment la façade d'un musée et attire chaque année une foule de visiteurs qui découvrent avec stupéfaction et ravissement son état de conservation et sa fière allure. Elle est unique dans la le pays et peut-être même en Europe...... C'est une jolie destination de vacances et l'occasion aussi de goûter les charmes de ce petit pays si attachant!
