GARE FERROVIAIRE (ŽELEZNIŠKA POSTAJA)

Built in 1844 and modernized in 2021. From Maribor, international connections are available to Graz, Vienna, Belgrade, Budapest... But also to many inland towns such as Murska Sobota and Ljubljana via Celje. The station is just a few hundred meters from the historic center. Tickets can be purchased at the central ticket office, which is open all day, or directly on the train from an authorized ticket inspector.
