STATION DE SKI KANIN

This ski resort north-west of Bovec has slopes up to 2,300 m altitude. It has three chairlifts and two ski lifts. Slope lengths: blue 6 km, red 22 km and black 2 km. This is Slovenia's highest ski area: the only one above 2,000m. As a result, it is snow-covered until early May. The resort can be reached via a gondola lift (the longest in the country) just outside Bovec, which also operates in July and August. The ski area is linked to the neighboring Sella Nevea ski area in Italy.
