PEOPLE'S PALACE

Thai restaurant €€
4/5
1 review

In a chic and relaxed atmosphere, especially on the very pleasant terrace, People's palace serves the most refined Thai cuisine and offers a friendly and efficient service. On the menu: homemade curries, pad thaï, thom yum soups, etc. Everything is available in a vegetarian version. For dessert, try the mango sticky rice. Fresh and delicious dishes in a charming setting, we highly recommend it but better make a reservation because the address is known to be one of the best Thai restaurants in Manila.

BARBARA'S HERITAGE RESTAURANT

Asian cuisine restaurant €€

At the entrance of the charming San Luis passage, in an old colonial building where everything breathes the 19th century, they serve a very good Filipino cuisine but also Spanish. Seafood paella, grilled meats, chicken Adobo, noodles... Try the seafood Amelie, a scallop, shrimp and crab meat puff pastry, served with a beef medallion. At lunch, a reasonably priced buffet is served. In the evening, a traditional dance performance enlivens the dinner.

AZUTHAI

Thai restaurant €€

Azuthai serves family-style Thai cuisine prepared according to the recipes of Chef Watee. The menu is well stocked and the dishes are copious, enough to make the amateurs of the country of the smile happy. We recommend the delicious fish and shrimp cakes, or the crispy duck salad to start. And if you feel like tasting a local fish, the steamed apahap with lime is simply divine. The desserts are also very good, don't leave without trying the mango with sticky rice. Attentive and smiling service.

MANILENOS SIZZLING HOUSE

Filipino restaurant

On the first floor of the Red Planet Hotel Manila Bay, here is a small and unpretentious restaurant that does not look like much but where they serve a very honest cuisine. On the menu, all the usual Filipino specialties, fried chicken, chicken adobo, sisig made with pork cheek, chopsuey, all accompanied by rice and good quality vegetables. On the sweet side, try the famous halo-halo made with ice cream. The prices are very reasonable, the quality also and the staff is welcoming. A little extra: they also serve a traditional Filipino breakfast.
