FESTIVAL DU JOUR DES NOMADES

In the Terelj nature reserve, about 100 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar, the Nomads' Day Festival was created to highlight the nomadic culture. Games are organized around traditional local customs: building a yurt, catching horses with a lasso... Gastronomy as well as musical and artistic folklore are also promoted through tastings and shows. Tourists can even try their hand at certain events!
