Soussa has a fishing port that supplies Al-Bayda residents with fresh fish. At the entrance and exit of the village, new housing quarters are coming out of land, as in many Libyan villages right now. The archaeological site of Apollonia, north of the village of Soussa, is certainly less spectacular than that of Cyrene, but its ruins have a charm that only own seaside sites. Visit the end of the day, when the cast light enhances the brightness of the marble columns. Take the main street towards the Hotel El-Manara (indicated at a service station level), along the archaeological museum in the heart of the Italian quarter. The Grand building at Hotel El-Manara faces the entrance to the Apollonia site.
