To get there, turn right at the end of the main street before the Hotel Afriqiya. You will find the train station in a parallel street, 1 km south of the main street. The office of Charikat Ralij es-Syrte is open from 6 am to 19 pm. Every day at 6 a. m., a bus leaves for Benghazi (7 DL) and another for Tripoli (6 DL). Hyunday minibuses and collective taxis leave when they are filled (go to the station in the morning). They serve Tripoli (5 hours drive, 15 DL), Ajdabiya (4 hours, 12 DL), Binjawat (on the route of Ajdabiya, 1 hour 30, 5 DL), Benghazi (5 hours 30, 15 DL), Hon and Sebha (approximately 6 hours, 20 DL).

Collective taxis can be expected from Benghazi and Tripoli at the exit of the city, at the roundabout on the road to Benghazi.
