This is THE chic restaurant in Mombasa. Housed in a beautiful Moorish building, Tamarind is considered by some to be the best seafood restaurant on the coast, if not in Kenya. It has a beautiful setting and from the terrace offers a breathtaking view of the estuary and the city of Mombasa. Nice menu of fish and seafood (the seafood risotto is exceptional!) and good South African wines. The bill is a bit steep but that's the price to pay for the view, especially in the evening. Magical.

Superbe restaurant
Dans un cadre exceptionnel au bord de l'eau et juste en face du vieux Mombasa, ont y vient pour apprécié une cuisine de fruit de mer et de viandes délicieuses. Belle carte de produits locaux et une cuisine international à la hauteur. Groupe de musicien en soirée au milieu d'une terrasse que l'on préfère: on rêve! Belle carte des vins. Cher mais normal vu la qualité et le service. Un bon souvenir que je répète à chacun de mes passage à Mombasa.
