Located south of Marich Pass, the Cherangany Hills offer the opportunity for an excellent multi-day hike. The park is rather unknown. As a result, this place is a real paradise for those who leave the beaten track, choosing to go and meet the deep Kenya. Here, it is the Pokots that you will meet on the trails, people not used to foreigners and therefore rather reserved. On the road to Turkwel and beyond, the last gas station (before Ken Gen or, further on, Lodwar) is located in the small village of Ortum, barely one kilometer from the main road
