Modest guesthouse in Bouéni offering animations and cultural demonstrations.

At the entrance of Bouéni, a rather modest guesthouse, no air-conditioning or fridge, run by Taambati, a local figure very involved in the development of Mayotte. An interesting half-board option for the local cuisine, with local dishes of raw fish, coconut chicken, etc. Sometimes there are animations and demonstrations of traditional culture (beauty mask, salouva, jasmine) and even cooking workshops with grating coconut, peeling papaya, mixing tamarind, crushing spices, etc. Instructive and fun!

Taambati and Moussa are very nice, available, accessible. Very clean cottage, excellent cuisine mahoraise like the very hearty breakfast. A very good address at low prices (€28 half the pension). Remember to book as much in demand cottage.

Very pleasant stay in Taambati and Moussa. The cuisine is excellent, Taambati is available. It is very invested locally but is always available and very welcoming, and ensures the management of its home of Master hand. It is a beautiful ambassador of the Mahoraise culture. It is actually Mayotte in all 4 corners of the world including guardian of cultural heritage.

Dirty very dirty public areas, cockroaches with spade... The cuisine, I was entitled to any dish mahorais, but instead of spaghetti or cornets. This place has lost its splendour. Front, they were bath, but there, a real bad place.

This address was for us the large disappointment trip! Tambaati is indeed very invested in the local life and we heard only during our four nights and 5 days: it has nothing but complain to las, it yawned, gave a death rattle! However, it made the sandalwood mask and spits out flower jasmine, but the heart was not and it really seemed to be forced to ensure the service in the guide. As a result, guests almost excursions to disturb, everyone put the table, disencumbered and some have even dishes from the evening it founded with her husband on the balcony! Therefore, it is a good address but we find do much however! It is a place that does not deserve nevertheless much praise. The owners of the Rising Sun, or Chez Ochocho or Mtiti are equally adorable.
