Archaeological site in Alcalá de Henares with remains of the ancient Roman city from the 4th century
In the Avenue of the Catholic Monarchs, we can observe the remains of the ancient Roman city of the 4th century: the archaeological site of Complutum, which preceded the foundation of Alcalá de Henares. This historic monument is now an open-air museum and allows you to see roads, thermal baths, porches and ancient mosaics. Finally, the Casa de los Grifos is the central part of the site. This building was used between the 1st and 4th centuries and was destroyed by fire.

Un peu déçus de ce site, il ne reste pas des vestiges très importants et en plus la partie la plus intéressante, la casa de los pièces, était fermée pour travaux.
The best at Alcalá De Henares and around
