This parador is located in a 17th century Dominican convent school and adjoins the Hostería del Estudiante, also located in a former school. Both buildings belong to the monumental complex of Alcalá. But the parador's facilities are stylish and modern and the swimming pool is life-saving after a hot day of visit. There is also a state-of-the-art spa and a gourmet restaurant specializing in roasted and grilled meats.

Un Parador au Top
Parador moderne, confortable, très propre, avec un personnel très convivial. Cuisine espagnole de haut niveau, un service aux petits soins pour vous, un personnel dévoué et convivial, un lieu très agréable, surtout lorsqu'on peut manger à l’extérieur dans le patio. Je citerai spécifiquement Cécile, responsable du restaurant, très sympathique et efficace et Victoria au petit déjeuner, toujours souriante, même en cas de coup de feu. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, en particulier les churros.

Parador de Alcala de henares
Un parador moderne et entièrement rénové dans un couvent du 17ème, c'est hypermoderne, et on cherche les traces du passé, mais le calme et le repos sont au rendez-vous. Le parador propose une visite gratuite de la ville de 18h à 19h30, sympathique attention à ses hôtes.Le restaurant est digne d'un hôtel de ce type avec des plats originaux et des mélanges de saveurs étonnants.
Pour s'y rendre pas besoin de voiture, prendre le bus 824 à partir du T2 de Barajas et descendre 200m avant le Carrefour du centre ville (ouvert 24/24!)
