When to go Madrid ?
We can go all year round. For a mild and sunny climate, favour spring and September/October. Winter in Madrid is quite pleasant, as it is a dry and sunny cold. In summer, temperatures rarely fall below 26°C, even at night. When there is wind, it is usually refreshing. Also try to come during the neighbourhood festivals in August, when the city is quiet, even though many establishments close at this time.
Very hot in the summer, cold in the winter: Madrilenians are used to big differences in temperature depending on the season. In winter, the temperature regularly drops from -5°C to 38°C in summer. So if you have a choice, the most pleasant periods are autumn (September, October) and spring (April, May, June). An important asset: it almost never rains.
