ETHNOGRAPHIC FARM AND FORMER OBSERVATORY (ETNOGRAFINĖ SODYBA IR ŠVIESULIŲ DANGAUS SENOVINĖ STEBYKLA)

South of the observatory, on the shores of Lake Lenktinis, lies the remains of an old ethnographic farm: a cellar, a barn and an establishment for the baths. Next to the farm, it is possible to discover a former pagan observatory composed of ten wooden poles, in circle, and a stone altar. In antiquity, the observatory was used not only for the observation of heaven but also for religious rituals.
