CHURCH OF CHRIST ASCENDING TO HEAVEN (KRISTAUS ŽENGIMO DANGŲ BAŽNYČIA BAŽNYČIA)

In red brick, romantic and Byzantine, this church is worth a look. Built between 1882 and 1884, its architecture is very original by the dome dominating the central part of the building. On the roof, an angel rises to the sky. On the left, a belfry with wooden roof, built in 1876, contains the bells. There is a cellar under this belfry. Behind the church is the cemetery.
