ALKA MUSEUM (MUZIEJUS ALKA)

This museum traces the history of the region: archaeology, ethnography, fauna and geology. You can admire many stuffed animals, including the bear, symbol of the region. The panorama, from the top of the terrace, offers a beautiful spectacle, except for the Soviet bars opposite. Exhibitions on Samogitian agriculture, art and culture of Lithuania Minor, postage stamps and graphic arts were presented during the war years.
