Opened in January 2018, this museum traces the city's history during the Second World War, particularly during the German occupation. Numerous objects from the period and official documents are on display in three of the museum's halls. The final hall is the Hall of Memory, featuring a symbolic 6 m-long cart with a glass lid covered in sand and filled with ordinary household items or other objects once belonging to German soldiers or civilians from Klaipėda. Exciting and hyperinstructive for young and old!
